Thank you for being here and showing an incredible amount of courage to go on this journey of growth.
Therapy will begin by scheduling a free 15-minute consultation call in order to discuss what you are looking for, wanting to accomplish, and to see if we are a good match for each other.
If we decide to proceed with therapy sessions, we'll schedule our initial session date and time. Before that appointment begins, I'll have sent you an intake packet and consent form packet to complete via the therapy platform that I use called, SimplePractice.

The initial appointment is called a Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation session, which is $195.00. Every session thereafter is called a Psychotherapy session. The cost is $195.00 per session and will last approximately 50-minutes per session.
I am considered an out-of-network (OON) provider who does not bill through insurance.
Please check in with your insurance to see if they provide reimbursement benefits for OON providers with the assistance of a superbill. I'm more than happy to provide that for you. A great start could be by contacting your insurance company's member service line to see if telehealth therapy is included in your policy.

Every client will automatically receive an email (48 hours prior) and a text appointment reminder (24 hours prior) via SimplePractice, which is my platform for conducting online therapy.
Changes to appointments must be made at least 24 hours prior to session date and time or will be subject to be charged the full session fee.

I can be made available to communicate via phone or by email. I will make the effort to respond in a timely matter (2 business days).
Communication outside of session times will be through email, text messaging, or phone call. However, please note that electronic communication is not recommended for discussing clinical matters, as confidentiality could be at risk. Instead, I would suggest scheduling a session to discuss any content that may not be suitable for email or text.
If we happen to run into each other outside the therapy office, I will not initiate contact. Your privacy and confidentiality are my top priorities, and I want to ensure they remain protected. However, if you greet me first, I’ll be glad to exchange a few words with you, though I believe it’s best to avoid lengthy conversations in public or outside the therapy setting.
If in case of a life threatening or psychiatric emergency, please call 9-1-1 immediately or go to your local emergency room.

Since the year 2022, you are protected from receiving surprise medical bills resulting from out-of-network care for emergency services and for certain scheduled services without prior patient consent.
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" that outlines the expected cost of your medical and mental health care.
By law, healthcare providers must give an estimate of charges for medical services, including psychotherapy, to patients who either don't have insurance or choose not to use it.
This estimate will help you understand the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy.
You’re welcome to request a Good Faith Estimate from your healthcare provider or any other provider before scheduling a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the option to dispute it. Be sure to keep a copy or a picture of your estimate for reference.
For any questions or to learn more about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, please visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
